Lansing District Community Ash Wednesday Worship
Join the Lansing District United Methodist Churches as they gather for a community Ash Wednesday worship service. Ash Wednesday begins the season of Lent, 40 days of preparation for Easter. During this creative and contemplative worship service, we’ll take some time to celebrate with a joint praise band from Sycamore Creek Church and MSU Wesley before turning contemplative with a Lansing District Community Choir and special solo guest artists. Come prepared to be stretched as we are challenged by Dr. Glenn Wagner of Holt UMC to “give up hell for Lent.” The evening’s offering will go toward the Dewitt Redeemer Food Pantry, and a time of fellowship will follow the worship service. Nursery care will be provided.
