Pastors Aug16

Three pastors share the responsibility of leadership and pastoral care for Sycamore Creek’s venues. Pastor Tom Arthur (left) is the lead pastor at Sycamore Creek and Potterville United Methodist churches. Pastor Tom Fox (middle) provides pastoral care. Sycamore Creek Discipleship Pastor Mark Aupperlee also serves as venue pastor at Potterville UMC.

Teams of volunteers support the pastors, from hospitality to cleaning and small groups and even preaching. On any given weekend you’ll hear dynamic teaching from pastors Tom Arthur and Mark Aupperlee, plus volunteers Gretchen Williams, Sarah Arthur, Bill Winston Chu, Erin Wasinger, Justin Kring and others.

Behind that team is a crew supporting SC’s vision:

You’ll find Jeremy Kratky (left) and Nathan Shelton (not pictured) leading worship at our venues in Lansing and Potterville. Jeremy also leads a dynamic Worship Arts Team full of volunteers with major music skills. Jeremy curates quality by leading the team in worship planning, music team auditions, rehearsals, and just about anything that has to do with music. Carola Spagnuolo (not pictured) is our communications wizard across all our venues.

Crucial to the multi-venue setup are our Venue Coordinators — Allie Kring (not pictured) leads our team at Buddies Grill on Monday nights. Gretchen Williams (third from left) is the Jackie’s Diner superstar on Tuesdays.

SC Kids Team fan Erin Wasinger (second from left) and Teen Fuel ninja Sarah Arthur (middle) lead our age-based ministry programs, partnering with families from birth through high school graduation. Allie Kring and Gretchen Williams also serve our children and youth in staff roles.

Keeping us all on task are numerous other hands, including Susan Kelley (not pictured), our amazing office manager. If you have questions or to contact someone on staff, email
